Most people ring around three times for a stove: once for the unit, once for a fitter, and once more when the two do not agree with each other. Francis does both halves, so there is nobody to fall out with.

Set back into the chimney breast so the glass sits flush with the wall. Tidy in a smaller room where a hearth would eat the floor.
Wood and multi-fuel
Wood only, or multi-fuel with a grate so it will take turf and coal as well. Which one suits you depends on what you can get locally.
Makes
Stove Fit is a dealer for the makes on display in Clonmel, Klover and Elcofire among them, and fits plenty of others besides, including Henley and Stanley. If you have a particular make in mind, ring and ask. He can usually get it.
How it goes
From the phone call to the first fire
- You ring. Room size, what is there now, what town you are in.
- A free survey, no obligation. The chimney or flue decides most of the price, and that cannot be done over the phone.
- One price for the lot. Stove, flue, fitting and the clean-up, not a unit price with surprises after.
- Fitted, lit and certified. He shows you how to run it, and you get a competent cert for the installation.
The chimney lining and the external air kit are his own work, not a second trade you have to chase. He is fully insured.

Already have a stove
Stove Fit services and repairs as well as supplying and fitting. If yours is not drawing right, the glass keeps blackening, or the rope and bricks are gone, that is a job worth doing before you replace anything.
He will respray a tired stove too. One that came out of a house renovation can go back looking like it did the day it was fitted, which is a good deal cheaper than a new one.
